We are constantly distracted by the internet everyday by news, media, and social networks. The younger demographic wake up every morning and must check one or all of the social media networks. How many people actually check Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram each day? Pew has statistics on how many people constantly check Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
The statistics show that about seventy percent of Americans use social networking sites and that seventy percent check Facebook daily. Even though Twitter is more "informative" on daily news only seven percent of users check Twitter daily. Race, education, and income used to have an impact but now it no longer seems to be a variable.
