In Q1 2016, we should expect Broadwell-E to work with the LGA 2011-3 socket  and then in Q3 2016 Intel is expected to release its next-gen High-End Desktop processor in the form of Skylake-E. During Computex 2015 next month, Intel is predicted to launch the Skylake architecture, which will include the Core i7-6700K processor. In 2016 Intel will then move to their first 10nm processors with the new Cannonlake architecture that will function as a low-power CPU, which will be advantageous to Ultra-books.
